¾ cup
boiling water
½ cup dark molasses
½ tsp. baking soda
1½ cup flour
¾ cup sugar
2 oz. butter
9" frozen pie shell (thawed
to room temperature) Mix
water, molasses and baking soda. Pour into pie shell.
Crumb Mixture
In separate bowl, mix together flour and sugar. Cut in
butter. Mix with hands until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of
liquid. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350°. |
