1 tbs. vegetable oil
5 oz. Canadian bacon, cut into 1/2” pieces
2 cups chopped onions
2– 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
6 tbs. apple cider vinegar
3 tbs. mild flavored molasses
1 tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs. chili powder
1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1– 16 oz. can garbanzo beans, rinsed, drained
1– 16 oz. can kidney beans, rinsed, drained
1– 16 oz. can black beans, rinsed, drained
1– 16 oz. can butter beans, rinsed, drained
Sauté onions and bacon in skillet until brown. Add mixture to crock pot. Mix
in tomato sauce and next six ingredients. Add all beans. Cover pot and simmer at
375° until mixture thickens, stirring occasionally, about 1 hour 35 minutes.
Once you eat these you will never eat beans out of a can again! |
